In a shocking incident, Uttar Pradesh Police assaulted a couple with stick inside the GRP police station premises, the video of which is doing rounds on Social media giving a chill to the netizens.
According to the preliminary information, UP DSP Ashok Kumar Dixit used a lathi over the Muslim couple. In the viral video, Dixit can be heard asking the couple whether they are married and whether they share physical relations. Later, he asked his officers to bring him a bigger stick to further beat up the couple.

According to the sources, ADG Railways Sanjay Singhal took the cognizance of the incident based on the viral video and a probe against Ashok Dixit, who retired on October 31, was initiated. SP GRP Moradabad will be in-charge of the probe.
