Bihar adept politician and former Union Minister, Raghuvansh Prasad Singh died on Sunday at the age of 74. He was admitted to the All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi. Singh had fallen critically ill after developing post-COVID complications. His condition had deteriorated on Friday night, and he was admitted to AIIMS on Saturday with complaints of recurrent cough. He was later put on a ventilator.
Now several dignitaries of India are taking to social media to pay last tribute to Raghuvash Prasad Singh.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday mourned the loss of Raghuvansh Prasad Singh. “Raghuvansh Prasad Singh is no more among us. His demise has left a void in the political sphere of Bihar as well as the country,” PM Modi said through a video conferencing.
The president of India, Ramnath Kovind penned, “The passing away of Raghuvansh Prasad Singh is tragic. An outstanding leader rooted to ground, Raghuvansh Babu was a true stalwart with phenomenal understanding of rural India. With his spartan and sagely lifestyle, he enriched public life. Condolences to his family & followers.”

Taking it to Twitter, RJD superno, Lalu Prasad Yadav who has an unique bond with the deceased politician wrote, “Dear Raghuvansh Babu! What did you do I told you the day before yesterday, you are not going anywhere. But you went so far. I am silent I am sad Will miss you very much.”

Union Home Minister Amit Shah who has been admitted to the hospital today after complaining of breathlessness tweeted, “Deeply saddened by the demise of Bihar’s senior leader #RaghuvanshPrasadSingh. His entire life was devoted to the thoughts of Lohia ji & Karpoori Thakur ji. His dedication to the welfare of poor and deprived section will always be remembered.”
