As the Tamil Nadu elections are coming forward, the Congress president Rahul Gandhi who was in the state last week for election campaigning appeared in the famous Tamil cooking show- Village Cooking Channel.

In which, the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi joined the chefs in making some delicious food and helped the locals in the preparation of the cooking process.

As the video and photos from the show has gone viral, the social media and congress leader fans and supporters have called him “the best Leader” “down to earth” and all other things.

The video from the Village Cooking Channel has received more than 2.6 million views on YouTube and is one of the most trending videos on YouTube.

Talking about the video, their energetic opening piece where the group says “Ellarum Vaango,” in local dialect is an iconic catchphrase. In the video, he was accompanied by Karur Member of Parliament and congress leader Jothimani.

While sitting on the mat, the locals and the leader can be seen engaging in a conversation while eating hot mushroom biryani on a banana leaf. He tastes the biryani and in the video can be seen saying nalla iruku” (it’s good).
