The announcement for the movie was made last month in December 2020 and now the leading lady has been found, She will play the role of Dr Fatima, a medical student.
Going on the tracks of college romance drama, Ayushamnan Khurrana will be seen as the lead protagonist as Dr Uday Gupta, a college senior who has eyes for Rakul Preet Singh, obviously.

The movie Doctor G has been co-written and directed by Anubhuti Kashyap and is known for her work in dark comedy directorial Afsos, an Amazon Prime Video starrer, and acclaimed short film Moi Marjaani.
The film has been penned by Sumit Saxena, Vishal Wagh, and Search Bharat, who himself is a doctor turned warted and has drawn inspiration from his medical days to pen down the play.
