Director Ram Gopal Varma is known for his controversial movies and now the director is back with another ‘Lakshmi NTR’ which is a biopic of iconic politician NT Rama Rao and his life after the entry of his second wife Lakshmi Parvathi.

The director took to Twitter yesterday to share that the film will release as per plan in Telangana. Although, the Andhra Pradesh High court stayed the release of the film till April 3. The court ordered to screen the movie to a panel on April 3 so that verdict can be reached.
The film has received mixed reviews on social media and many Telugu users also lashed out on the director for delivering a film with cheap production value.
P Vijay Kumar, Yagna Shetty, Sritej and Aningi Rajasekhar in the lead roles. The technical team of Lakshmi’s NTR comprises composer Kalyani Malik, cinematographer Rammy, and editor Kamal.

Halfway through #LakshmisNTR …The initial 15 mins are not that much appealing.. The actor who portrayed NTR’s role, has impeccable body language…I’m not much aware of truth Somehow, I felt like RGV depicted lakshmi parvathi scenes are fictional..

While many of them were slamming the movie, there were other sections who were all praises for the film
#LakshmisNTR While Coppola reinvented the crime movie by focusing more on the family bonding, RGV does exactly the same with Lakshmi’s NTR. He flipped the script of a political drama in to a new age love story and a family drama. Hatsoff to his terrific vision.RGV is back. pic.twitter.com/Db2etV51KH

1st half – @RGVzoomin appears to treat women like objects but he understood and portrayed Lakshmi Parvathi role deeply and sincerely. Extremely good so far #LakshmisNTR
