On the work front, Deepika, who was last seen in Padmaavat, has signed Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak, which is based on the life of an acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. The actress has been cast opposite Vikrant Massey in this film. Ranveer, on the other hand, has begun prepping for Kabir Khan’s 83. The actor will play Kapil Dev in the film which is based on Indian Cricket Team’s 1983 world cup win. He will also be seen in Karan Johar’s Takht, which stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Vicky Kaushal.
