Redmi 12: Xiaomi has just teased the Indian market introduction of the Redmi 12 model. In a new Twitter video, the company alludes to the imminent release of the smartphone. So here are the specifics.

The Chinese technology titan tweeted the teaser from its official Twitter account. Observing the video, we can see that an unidentified device is being teased. However, the brief view we receive of the device reveals that it is the Redmi 12. For those unaware, the smartphone model has already been released in a number of other global regions. Therefore, we have a decent idea of the specifications it may possess.
The device features a 6.79-inch tall IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution, 550 nits of peak luminance, and a 90Hz refresh rate. The Redmi 12 features a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC and up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. However, this storage configuration was made available exclusively in Thailand. However, it is possible that this variant will also be introduced in India, as the teaser depicts a Polar Silver option that was previously unveiled in Thailand.
Other notable features include a triple 50-megapixel camera setup on the rear, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, Android 13 OS-based MIUI 14 skin, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, IP53 rating, and a 5000mAh battery pack that supports 33W rapid charging.
