Rhea Chakraborty has reacted in the Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death matter. The actress has been under the radar ever since the late actor’s father KK Singh filed an FIR against her in a police station in Patna.
Rhea Chakraborty who is awaiting the decision of Supreme Court in her plea seeking transfer of the FIR against her to Mumbai Police has now issued a detailed statement through her lawyer and team, in which she has called all the allegations charged against her as ‘nonsense’.
As reported by India Today, Rhea Chakraborty in her statement has mentioned that the family of Sushant Singh Rajput did not make any allegations against her until July 27, 2020, even in the statement they recorded immediately after the actor’s death.
A part of the statement reads, “The current allegations being levelled by his family are total nonsense and an afterthought. No allegations whatsoever were made till the 27th of July 2020 by anybody in the family before the Mumbai Police or to any other authority. Their statements were recorded by the police in Mumbai. They are educated and have an IPS officer OP Singh in the family. The allegations are totally concocted and fabricated for ulterior purposes. Rhea denies all allegations of abetment of suicide, misappropriation of funds and others or otherwise. Both the Mumbai Police and the Enforcement Directorate have been handed over all of Rhea’s financial documents which clearly show the falsity of such allegations. She has not received a single transfer from Sushant’s accounts. All her Income Tax Returns have been examined by Police as well as the ED. Neither of them have found anything incriminating against Rhea.”
Further, in the statement, an incident involving Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Priyanka has been mentioned. The actress has claimed that she attended a party with Sushant’s sister Priyanka and later, the sister groped her in an inebriated state. This led to her strained relationship with Sushant’s family, the statement further claims. Her name was also removed from the list of people attending Sushant Singh Rajput’s funeral.
