Rishi Kapoor happy after B-town attends Vinod Khanna’s prayer meet

Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor was saddened over the sudden demise of his good friend, veteran actor Vinod Khanna. Besides, the absence of new generation actors at the Khanna’s funeral has left the actor more infuriated. But, it seems that his anger has finally vanished after the actors showed up for the prayer meet of the legendary actor on Thursday.

Khanna passed away on April 27 owing to bladder cancer. His sudden demise left entire film fraternity shocked and sad. But on Thursday, some of the biggest celebs including Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Arbaaz Khan, have offered their condolences to the grieving family at the Nehru Centre, Worli.

As the young generation turned up yesterday, the veteran actor who is known for his outspoken nature, tweeted.

In his tweet, he thanked the celebrities. His tweet read, “Thank you my film brethren for your solidarity shown towards the Khanna family. Hum mein ab bhi insaniyat baaki hai. Love you all”

Notably, Kapoor was extremely angry with young stars who preferred to miss Khanna’s funeral. “Shameful. Not ONE actor of this generation attended Vinod Khanna’s funeral. And that too he has worked with them. Must learn to respect,” he had then tweeted.

But, finally, his anger seems to have subsided with the latest development.
