Ever since Kareena Kapoor Khan gave birth to her new-born baby Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, the latter is constantly in the headlines, principally because of his name chosen by his beloved parents. Both Saif Ali Khan and Kareena, who welcomed their baby boy on December 20, earned the wrath of many for naming the little one Taimur.
The social media got flooded with the reactions over the name and how the celebrity couple chosen to name their son after Timur – a barbaric monarch who had invaded India in the 14th century. The ruler was often linked with the extensive massacre that happened under his reign.
While the actor couple is yet to react on the noise going around, Kareena’s uncle and veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, who is known for his blunt nature took to twitter last night to express his views.
The ace actor slammed the haters, saying that it was the parents’ wish to name him so and it had nothing to do with anyone else. “Why are people so bothered what the parents want to name their child, please? Mind your business; it’s got nothing to do with you. Parents wish!,” the actor’s one of the tweet reads.
