Ronja the Robber’s Daughter OTT Release Date: Coming to Netflix on March 28, 2024, Ronja the Robber’s Daughter is an exciting story about defiance, friendship, family, and adventure.

Netflix says that Ronja The Robber’s Daughter, which was previously called Ronja Rovardotter, is a new live-action show that is based on the popular book Ronia, The Robber’s Daughter by Astrid Lindgren.

Ronja will have both amazing adventures and touching moments on her trip through family, friends, and the wild beauty of the dark forest.

Plot

Ronja the Robber’s Daughter is an exciting story about friendship, defiance, and going on adventures. In a magical and enigmatic forest that is both beautiful and dangerous, thieves are raising Ronja. Birk is a member of the other gang, and when she meets him, they are in a fight that could split up their families. Ronja and Birk need to become close in order to live in the bush and make their own luck, while a smart sheriff comes to catch the thieves.

In the trailer for the show, there are beautiful mountains, gushing rivers, and the sound of eagles flying overhead.

Where and when can I watch?

Part 1 of Ronja the Robber’s Daughter will appear on Netflix on March 28, 2024. Part 2 will appear later that same year.

The cast and crew

Christopher Wagelin plays Krista Kosonen, Sverrir Gudnason plays Maria Nohra, Pernilla August plays Vera Vitali, Johan Ulvesson plays Johan Ulvesson, and Jack Bergenholtz-Henriksson plays Jack Bergenholtz.

The beloved Swedish classic was turned into a two-part live-action movie by Hans Rosenfeldt and was produced by Filmlance.

Astrid Lindgren’s book Ronia, The Robber’s Daughter, which was the inspiration for Ronja the Robber’s Daughter, came out in 1981.

There was a movie version of the book in 1984. The Swedish government picked it as their entry for the 58th Academy Awards, but it wasn’t nominated.

An animated Japanese show based on Ronja the Robber’s Daughter was shown for the first time at the International Annecy Animated Film Festival in 2015.
