Just when we thought that the controversy around Nepotism would die down, a new one has surfaced on Sunday with the hosts Karan Johar and Saif Ali Khan chanting ‘Nepotism Rocks,’ a couple of times at the star-studded IIFA awards event in New York. The duo also took a dig at Kangana Ranaut who started the debate on nepotism in the industry months backs.

That was not all. Varun Dhawan also joined the squad when he came up on stage to collect his award for Best actor in a comic role for ‘Dishoom.’ The trio including Johar, Khan and Dhawan once again chanted, “Nepotism rocks,” on the stage.

Taking a dig at Kangana, Saif and Varun started to sing ‘Bole Chudhiya, Bole Kangana’ from Karan’s hit film ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.’ Soon, the filmmaker quipped, “Kangana nahi bolen toh achcha hai.”

Earlier, Ranbir  Kapoor has also accepted that nepotism exist and he is the product of nepotism. “It exists in the film industry, and I am a product of nepotism. I am here today because of my parents. My father got an opportunity because of his father. So, I believe if my children choose to be actors, I would like to give them a platform,” Ranbir told Deccan Chronicle.

Here’s how Twitterati reacted on this:

Now, we wonder what Kangana has to say about this.
