It is old news that Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt are all set to share screen space in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next titled Inshallah. The movie is unlike any other film that SLB has taken up in the last few years and isn’t a period drama which seemed to have been the filmmakers favourite genre.
According to an entertainment website, “Inshallah will bring back the Bhansali we had seen in films like Khamoshi and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. It’s a romantic saga that won’t have lavish sets but will be shot at real locations.” Another informer from the production tells us, “It’s this story of a 40-plus businessman played by Salman Khan who’s carefree and not as serious about his life as men his age would be. His father tells him that he will give him all his wealth only on one condition – he has to fall in love and change his lifestyle.”
The website also shed light on Alia Bhatt’s character. “Alia plays an aspiring actress who Salman gets to fool his father. They fake a relationship but in the course of doing so, how they actually fall in love with each other and how their world collides is what Inshallah is all about,” adds the khabri.
Well doesn’t this plot seem a lot similar to one of Salman’s previous films? We wonder if you’ve guessed it as well! While SK’s role in Inshallah might have a tad hint of his character from Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, the entire plot sounds eerily similar to another film of the superstar – Jaanam Samjha Karo starring Urmila Matondkar. Urmila plays the role of an singer who poses to be Salman’s girlfriend in order to get his share of property from his father. Well, we wonder if Inshallah will seem like Jaanam Samjha Karo revisited.
