The Samsung Galaxy Ring does not yet have any official specifications, however we may search through a few filed patents to see if there may be any information available. The ring looks to include an interior electrode in one patent image from 2022, which is seen below. Samsung Galaxy Ring Outlook
It shouldn’t have come as a huge surprise to many when Samsung revealed a smart ring instead of the much-rumored XR/VR headgear. Samsung would need to do a lot with their VR headset to stand out in the crowd, especially with Apple, Meta, Valve, and so many other big firms joining the VR sector this year. However, that will be a simpler fight if it is one of the few businesses to rival the Oura Ring with a smart ring.
