Sara Ali Khan gets trolled on Twitter for racist and culturally appropriating photoshoot

Sara Ali Khan became everyone’s favourite last year in a short span of time. Last year, when she appeared on Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan Season 6 along with her father Saif Ali Khan, the audiences were impressed with how she is aware of her privileges and nepotism. Not only that, she even managed to win hearts with her interviews and bold and bindaas attitude.

She made her debut last year with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath in which she starred alongside Sushant Singh Rajput. Last year, she was also seen in Rohit Shetty’s Simmba in which she was paired opposite Ranveer Singh. Sara received a lot of praises for her performance in both films. Well, looks like people are disappointed with the actress lately for her recent photoshoot with a magazine. In one of the pictures, Sara Ali Khan is standing holding a stick in her hand with Kenya’s Masai tribesman standing behind her. People are bashing the publication and the actress for racism in it.

One of the Twitter users wrote, “Sara Ali Khan went to Columbia, and even she could not tell filmfare that maybe her “stunner” picture is racist and appropriative? Come on, Sara, you are one of the good ones!!” Check out some of the tweets posted by the Twitteratis bashing Sara
