TV actor Ranjan Sehgal who also worked in Bollywood film ‘Sarabjit’ passed away on July 11 due to multiple organ failure at a hospital in Chandigarh, Punjab. The 36-year-old actor was unwell from a while due to an unknown long-term ailment.
The Cine & TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA) paid a tribute to the late actor on Twitter. CINTAA official handle tweeted, “#CINTAA expresses its deepest condolence on the demise of Ranjan Sehgal (Member since Nov 2010).”

Sehgal acted in several TV shows like Rishon Se Badi Pratha, Tum Dena Saath Mera, Gustakh Dil, Bhawar, and Jaane Kya Hoga Ram and a few more. He also appeared in many episodes of Crime Patrol.
Apart from working with Bollywood stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda in ‘Sarbjit’, Ranjan also worked with SRK aka Shahrukh Khan in ‘Zero’.
The late actor was a popular face in Punjab cinema too. Ranjan has worked in several Punjabi movies including Yaaran Da Katchup, Aatishbaazi Ishq, and Mahi NRI.
Earlier last month, another Crime Petrol actor named Safique Ansari had died after battling with lung cancer.
