Schools have reopened in several states since Monday amid the world’s largest vaccination campaign against coronavirus in India. These states include Maharashtra, Gujarat, Haryana, and Punjab. It has been decided to open schools as per the protocol of the Union Home Ministry and the guidelines of the Union Health Ministry. There has been a steady decline in the number of Coronavirus cases in the country. Schools were closed across the country from 25th March 2020 due to the corona epidemic. Most of the students were studying online since July. After the school reopens, the students will be able to sit in class and study as before.
Teachers and children inside schools will have to strictly adhere to coronavirus guidelines issued by the central government. This includes adherence to social dissing, frequent washing and wearing face masks, etc.
Haryana
The Haryana government had decided to reopen the state schools from February 1. All schools from Class VI to VIII have been opened from Monday. The time of school will be from 10 am to 1:30 am. Only after the written consent of the parents will the students be allowed to come to school. Students coming to school are required to abide by the rules of Covid-19.
Punjab
In view of the directions of coronavirus, schools for primary and pre-primary students will be opened in Punjab from today (February 1). Let us say that after 10 months in Punjab, class 1 and 2 children can study at school. Earlier, schools were opened for class X and XII students from the first week of January
Andhra Pradesh
In Andhra Pradesh, schools have resumed for students from Class I to V from today (February 1, 2021). It will be necessary to follow the Coronavirus guidelines in the school. However, the written consent of the parents is necessary.
Gujarat
In Gujarat also, schools for classes IX and XI have been reopened today (February 1, 2021). Children will now be able to study offline as before. Earlier, offline studies for Classes 10 and 12 have commenced on 11th January.
Delhi
Schools will also be opened for students of Class IX and XI from February 5 in Delhi. Degrees, polytechnics, and IIT institutions with schools will also be opened from 5th February. The officers have been instructed to go to schools and colleges to ensure compliance with all the rules of protection from the corona. It will be necessary to adhere to the physical distance in each class, availability of sanitizer and mask.
