Cricketer turned commentator turned Twitter sensation – Virender Sehwag will be seen acting in a new web series on Video on Demand (VOD) service – Viu that will go on air next week.
After a successful cricketing career that included 38 hundreds and 72 fifties across all international cricket formats; Sehwag made Twitter his new playground with his brilliant wit and humour replacing bat and ball.
From unique birthday wishes to trolling some big names in the world, Sehwag’s gutsy style of play has continued onto the world of social media, winning him a number of followers and adding base to his fan following.
His new innings in front of the camera would surely give his ardent fans and admirers an opportunity to see this charismatic cricketer’s tongue do all the talking.
So what’ this show going to be all about? Will it be about upper-cutting your mother-in-law’s vicious bouncers beyond the boundary or playing the game of life with a straight bat? That only time will tell but one thing is for sure with Sehwag in it – there is hardly a chance of a dull moment in it.
