Woohoo! Shah Rukh Khan has finally confirmed that he is joining the team of Sujoy Ghosh’s Badla. The filmmaker is known for his thrillers like Kahaani and Kahaani 2. Badla features Taapsee Pannu as a young woman and Amitabh Bachchan as a lawyer. The film deals with the investigation around the death of a young man. It is the official remake of a Spanish film, Contratiempo.
Shah Rukh Khan had said that he would start work on the project after Zero and we guess he might begin shooting from tomorrow. He plays the part of Taapsee Pannu’s husband in the film. The film is a thriller where a businessman gets arrested for the murder of his married lover. A series of twists and turns unfold and the real intentions are discovered.

The two have worked last before in Bhootnath (2008). Mohabbatein, Veer-Zara, Paheli, Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna are some of their notable films together.
The film is being produced under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. Sujoy earlier said, “SRK is the producer but like hell, I am going to stop him from making an appearance.” The film’s trailer will be out in a couple of days.
