Zero box office collection Day 6: SRK starrer sees a downfall in its collection

From the time that the trailer came out, Zero is facing one legal issue to another. When the trailer came out, a Sikh community head filed a complaint against the makers for insulting the sentiments of their community. Apparently, there was a kirpan shown in the film which the makers insist that it was a normal dagger.

Now Zero has found itself in another hot bowl of soup after a fresh complaint was filed against the film. This time the reason is for insulting physically disabled women in the movie. Shah Rukh Khan Finally Joins Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma for Zero Promotions – See Pic.

As per a report in CNN, a complaint has been registered with the National Commission for Women (NCW) against the makers of Zero for ‘making outrageous, cheap, insensitive remarks and insulting physically disabled women (community)’. This has perhaps to do with Anushka Sharma’s character, who is playing a paraplegic scientist in the film and is a love interest of Shah Rukh Khan’s character, who himself is playing a vertically challenged man. Wonder when are they going to raise a complaint against that!

While the trailer never hinted about any insult to the character, someone definitely felt so. It has to be seen what action NCW will take against Zero. Considering that the movie is about to release on December 21, we wonder why it took so much time for the complainants to find issue with something that had been shown in the first trailer itself.
