It won’t be wrong to say that the wedding season in Bollywood has arrived. We have seen Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s wedding, and then, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh took the plunge. Last year, Priyanka Chopra also chose the man of her dreams and got married to Nick Jonas. This year, we have reports of Varun Dhawan tying the knot with his longtime girlfriend Natasha Dalal. We can say that love is surely in the air. Rumours were rife that Shraddha Kapoor is set to tie the knot with rumoured boyfriend Rohan Shrestha in 2020. But the couple has split according to sources close to them.
According to reports, Shraddha’s family wants her to get settled down as they think it’s the right age to get married. Now, Shraddha’s father Shakti Kapoor has dismissed all these reports. In an interview with SpotBoye, he said, “Bullsh**t. There is no truth to it. Shraddha has no plans of marrying anyone for coming 4-5 years. She has too much on her plate at the moment and is totally focussed on her upcoming projects. Her calendar is choc-o-block for the next 2 years. All this is crap.”
He also added that Shraddha has been linked to many actors in the past. He said that Rohan’s father Rakesh is his dear friend and they are family friends. He asserted, “My daughter tells me everything that is happening in her life. She will never marry without her parents’ consent”.
Earlier, when Rohan was asked about the reports of him dating the actor, he had said that he has known her for nine years and they are close friends and also denied dating her.
On the work front, Shraddha has Chhichhore alongside Sushant Singh Rajput.
