Shane Warne will now wear an England jersey for one day as he loses a bet earlier made with Ganguly. It started from a conclave in London, where former Australia batsman and Captain Michael Clarke tipped Australia to be one of the finalists for the Champions Trophy but Sourav Ganguly, the former Indian skipper, insisted that England were a better team and had a higher chance of coming into the finals.
However, things became more interesting when Shane Warne, former Australian international cricketer, joined the conversation and placed a bet. He said that if England were to beat Australia in Champions Trophy then he will spend a day wearing an England jersey and will also treat Ganguly but if it will happen another way round then the former Indian skipper will buy Warne dinner and will also have to wear an Australian jersey for a day.

However, as turned out, England beat Australia by 40 runs in the Champions Trophy and secured a place in the semi-finals where they will have a face-off with Pakistan.
As the former legspinner lost the bet, he now has to stick to his word of wearing an England jersey for an entire day.
He tweeted:
.@SGanguly99 You win our bet mate. I will find an England shirt and wear it all day ! ?????????????
