The latest episode of Koffee With Karan was riding high on the hotness quotient as Sidharth Malhotra and Aditya Roy Kapur were on the couch across Karan Johar. Uff, needless to say, we were all drooling over the hot boys and their candidness. While on the show, Karan made sure he extracted some details regarding their love life and therefore, Sidharth was obviously asked about his equation with ex-girlfriend, Alia Bhatt.
Here’s what Sid said:
We haven’t met after it. Our relationship is civil. I don’t think it’s bitter. It’s been a while. I have known her for much longer even before we dated. I gave my first ever shot with her in SOTY, I was crazy, and there is so much history.
KJo further asked him if it has been difficult to remove the emotional dynamic when it comes to Alia and move ahead professionally.
And he said:
There is a reason why two people decide not to be together. There were lots of ups and downs. When you take yourself from a situation, you look at all the happy and good memories.
It’s good to see Sid and Alia maintaining a cordial relationship despite their relationship not working out. Who knows, maybe they will also come together on screen for a film, like ex-couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor?! Sid and Alia broke up in 2017 and the latter is now dating her Brahmastra co-star, Ranbir.
