Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra, who is currently shooting for his upcoming film, ‘Mission Majnu’ recently injured his knee while performing a stunt. However, the actor resumed the shoot and completed his portions after medical aid.
Reportedly, Sidharth was performing a stunt under the supervision of director Shantanu Bagchi and action director Ravi Verma when he slipped and hit his knee on a metal. Reports state that although there was no visible swelling or bleeding, the actor was in pain.
The actor refused to halt the shoot due to his knee injury as the retro set up for the film was specially made. Meanwhile, since the shoot began, Sidharth had been sharing glimpses on his social media handle from Lucknow.
According to reports, the set was created to reflect the 70s aesthetics and recreating the same would be expensive and time-consuming. So went ahead and completed his part to ensure they are on track with their schedule.
‘Mission Majnu’ will also star south beauty Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role. The film will mark her debut in Bollywood. While the shooting of the film is still on, she has already bagged her second film in Bollywood and that too alongside Amitabh Bachchan. Being directed by Vikas Bahl, it is titled, ‘Goodbye’.
