Son Of Sardaar 2 Collection Day 1:Son of Sardaar 2 just couldn’t catch a break at the box office. By noon, it barely scraped together ₹0.61 crore, and even when the clock hit 4:30 PM, it had only crawled up to ₹2.14 crore. Not great, Bob. And honestly, even with a flood of evening shows left, breaking ₹5 crore on day one? Doesn’t look like it’s gonna happen. For a sequel packed with big names, that’s just what we didn’t expect.
Son Of Sardaar 2 Collection Day 1
We’re talking about 14% overall barely double digits in the morning, and it only perked up a bit in the afternoon. Meanwhile, Dhadak 2 is over there flexing with 15% in the morning alone and snagging a spot in the top 10 openers this year. Saiyaara’s still hogging the spotlight too. Basically, Son of Sardaar 2 is fighting for scraps.
Son Of Sardaar 2 Box Office Prediction: Can It Break the Record?
Advance Booking
Advance ticket sales? Pretty down. Final day pre-bookings hit ₹2.03 crore gross, or about 1.26 lakh tickets. It did edge out Jaat and Kesari Chapter 2, but it couldn’t even sniff the top 5 for pre-sales in 2025. Industry folks are already side-eyeing these numbers, warning that this lukewarm interest could mean a short, sad run in theaters.

The movie was supposed to drop on 3,500 screens, but with Saiyaara still pulling crowds and Mahavatar Narsimha refusing to budge, Son of Sardaar 2 got squeezed out especially in the single-screens and smaller cities. And, yeah, Dhadak 2’s release didn’t help things either. It’s like musical chairs, but with way fewer seats.
Reviews
Reviews are all over the place. Taran Adarsh basically shrugged and called it a letdown with dated jokes, though he tossed a compliment to Ravi Kishan and Deepak Dobriyal. Online, some folks are loving the feel-good vibes and Ajay Devgn’s signature swagger, but others say the comedy’s as stale as last week’s samosas. Even Suniel Shetty chimed in, calling it a “laugh riot” so, opinions are flying around like confetti.
Son of Sardaar 2 stumbled straight out the gate. Sub-20% occupancy, limp ticket sales, and way too much competition from bigger, shinier movies. Unless word-of-mouth somehow turns this ship around, that opening day flop might just set the tone for the whole run. Maybe miracles happen over the weekend but I wouldn’t bet my popcorn on it.
