Son Of Sardaar 2 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 3:Ajay Devgn’s Son of Sardaar 2 dropped on August 1, 2025. The first weekend numbers in India? Not bad at all. Friday kicked off with ₹7.25 crore, picked up a bit more steam on Saturday at ₹8.25 crore, and then it hit ₹9.25 crore on Sunday. Crunch those numbers and you’re looking at ₹24.75 crore by Sunday night. Solid, right? Not exactly a blockbuster, but people showed up.

Son Of Sardaar 2 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 3

Saturday brought in ₹1.7 crore, but then Sunday just flopped down to ₹1 crore. So, just ₹2.7 crore from everywhere outside India. Add it all up, the worldwide collection is about ₹34.75 crore after three days. Honestly, that’s a bit of a letdown if you’re Ajay or his accountant. Guess the desi jokes and punchlines didn’t hit the same in New Jersey or London.

Meanwhile, Dhadak 2 tried to get in the game, but only managed ₹11.97 crore over the same three days. That’s like, half of what Son of Sardaar 2 pulled in. Dhadak 2 got some nice reviews, but people weren’t exactly racing to theaters. And then there’s Saiyaara, just chilling at the top with a monstrous ₹300+ crore. That’s not even a competition, it’s a massacre.

India Occupancy

Indian audiences seemed to vibe with the movie over the weekend, pushing Son of Sardaar 2 past ₹25 crore and keeping it ahead of Dhadak 2. Still, it’s nowhere near Saiyaara’s league. Overseas crowds? Meh. The movie didn’t click, not like Devgn’s earlier Raid 2 did. That one exploded right out the gate with ₹19.25 crore on day one in India alone.

Sunday’s Hindi occupancy rate was decent: 34.9% overall, but the evening shows were packed, hitting 51.6%. Delhi-NCR, Lucknow, Jaipur, and Pune were hot spots. Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai? Not too bad either. Again, outside India? Theaters probably had more empty seats than popcorn tubs.

Son of Sardaar 2 had a pretty good home turf run over the weekend, left Dhadak 2 in the dust, but just didn’t connect with the overseas crowd. Saiyaara’s still the king. This sequel’s riding on nostalgia and Devgn’s comic timing, but whether it sticks around or fizzles out Monday’s numbers will tell the real story.
