Sonu Sood hit headlines last year for working relentlessly during the exodus of migrants in the country when the pandemic first hit. Then, he went on to help people by arranging medicines, hospital beds, and oxgyen for the COVID-19 patients.

Recently, the actor was announced as the brand ambassador of the Punjab government for its Covid vaccination programme. Even private airline SpiceJet honoured him by dedicating an aircraft livery for a Boeing 737, making him the first Indian actor to make it to the livery of a domestic airline.
