SP, BSP say Modi hatao, I say corruption hatao: PM Modi

Taking dig at SP and BSP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that the after years of rivalry both parties were united against me.

“Have you ever seen both SP and BSP united over anything? No. They are never united. But they, in one voice, are united against me. It’s your (party supporters) decision. They say Modi hatao, I say, corruption hatao,” he said while addressing a rally at Lucknow.

Modi added “today one party wants to save its family, the other wants to save its cash but only the BJP wants to save UP.”

“Every other party is busy dealing with family feuds, or trying to hide their black money.”

“I am here to urge all of you to vote for BJP and let us help you. New Delhi is behind every person of Uttar Pradesh,” he added.

“Development is not their preference. They only know petty politics,” he said.

Condemning the UP government for being inconsiderate towards farmers, Prime Minister Modi called the attitude of the ruling party ‘unfortunate.’

“Our farmer works so hard… In spite of getting full support from the central government, Uttar Pradesh government does not care for the farmers,” he said

He urged the people of Uttar Pradesh to vote for development and not religion in the upcoming assembly election in the state.

He also asked people to download BHIM app, which he said they launched as a tribute to “great economist” Bhimrao Ambedkar.

The mobile application was launched by the Government of India to push digital banking in the country.
