After Dera chief, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, was convicted in a 15-year long rape case and was sentenced to 20 years in prison, Bollywood actor, Shah Rukh Khan, expressed happiness over the judgement.
The actor, who was busy shooting for TED talks when the judgement came out, expressed satisfaction over the CBI court’s judgement, that demanded the self-styled godman to serve 20 years in prison. The cast and crew, for some time, halted the shoot and started discussing the case. They also applauded the court’s judgement.
Dera Sacha Sauda chief, Gurmeet Ram Rahim was sentenced to 10 years in jail on Monday for raping two women followers several years ago. He was sentenced at a jail in Haryana’s Rohtak by Judge Jagdeep Singh. Singh flew down on government helicopter to conduct proceedings in prison-side court.
