In yet another violent incident, people in Jamshedpur pelted stones at the Munshi Mohalla Masjid on Saturday. The mob continued to throw stones at the masjid and the police did nothing to stop the incident and take control of the situation.
A Facebook user had uploaded videos that show the continuous pelting of stones at the masjid. It also shows the helpless policemen who are not trying to do anything and are merely watching the incident.
The incident comes in the wake of the ongoing tension in parts of Jamshedpur, where there are violent clashes happening between the policemen and protestors. A curfew has been imposed following the tension in the area after the clashes grew intense. It comes after six men in the city, who were reportedly assumed to be child kidnappers, following rumours of kidnapping in the area, were beaten to death by an angry mob.
