The much-awaited trailer of the upcoming film ‘Student of the Year 2’ featuring Tiger Shroff along with debutants Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria is out now. The movie is a sequel to 2012’s Student of the Year which featured Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Siddharth Malhotra.
Earlier, the makers of the film teased the audiences with the posters of the film, revealing the character names of Ananya Panday as Shreya and Tara Sutaria as Mia, however, Shroff’s name is still kept under the wraps. Soty 2 is helmed by Punit Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar under his home banner Dharma Productions.
The trailer starts with an electrifying entry of Tiger Shroff while playing kabaddi with his teammates. He is excited to study in St Theresa which is an elite college.
Tara is shown as someone who is eyeing to win the dance competition and takes help of Tiger, who is an all-rounder. While Ananya is shown as a spoilt brat, who spraypaints Tiger’s bicycle in pink and calls him Princess.
The SOTY sequel also features an arrogant villain played by Aditya Seal who hits the hell out of Tiger leaving him injured. But later Tiger sums up the beating as he destroys the villain with his horde and also ended up winning certain competitions.

SOTY 2 trailer also shows a love triangle between Tiger and Ananya-Tara. The trailer also gives a glimpse of the recreated version of the retro hit ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’. As reported earlier, Punit Malhotra’s directorial is said to feature Will Smith in a cameo appearance. SOTY 2 is slated to release on May 10, 2019.
