- Sunil Grover was born in Sirsa, Haryana. He holds a masters degree in Theatre from Chandigarh.
- The actor is happily married to Arti and not many know that he has a 6-year old son Mohan.
- Sunil was the voice behind RJ Sud on Radio Mirchi. He used to host the popular show ‘Hansi Ke Phuware’, where he played the character of Sudarshan aka Sud.
- After doing theatre for years, he made his TV debut with ‘Chala Lallan Hero Banne’. He was also the ambassador of Filmy Channel for some time.
- After doing shows like ‘Kya Aap Paanchvi Fail Champu Hain? and Kaun Banega Champu, he rose to fame by playing the role of Gutthi in ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’. Gutthi’s character gained immense popularity and became a cult. The character was inspired by his college classmate.
