After the International Court of Justice stayed the execution of Indian national Kulbhushan Jadhav, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj took to her Twitter handle to thank Harish Salve, who had presented Jadhav’s case at the ICJ on Monday.
The ICJ instructed Pakistan to take all “necessary measures at its disposal” to ensure that Jadhav was not executed pending a final decision by it.
We are grateful to Mr.Harish Salve for presenting India’s case so effectively before ICJ.

A little while later after the ICJ’s order, external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj tweeted her gratefulness to the Indian lawyer, who had charged Re 1 for fighting the case.
61-year old Salve is one of India’s most expensive lawyers who charges anything between Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh for a court appearance.
