As per Times Now report, the Governor C Vidyasagar Rao might be taking some legal advice on the elevation of Sasikala as the state’s Chief Minister.
On Sunday, the AIADMK elected Sasikala as its Legislative head, a month after she became the party’s General Secretary, paving way for her to become Chief Minister.
Tamil Nadu Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao today accepted the resignation of Chief Minister O Panneerselvam, clearing the decks for V K Sasikala to take over the top post.
Panneerselvam had resigned citing “personal reasons.”
