This year there was a Diwali bonanza as three films graced the theatres. On the Diwali weekend, three movies namely, Made In China, Saand Ki Aankha and Housefull 4 was released. But seems it was not a bonanza for them as all three films have been fallen into the prey of piracy.
After Made in China and Housefull 4, Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar starrer ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ has been leaked by online piracy website Tamilrockers.
The movie, which was released on October 25, has been leaked online by piracy giant Tamilrockers within a day of its release. According to media reports, the movie has been available for free download in HD print.
Helmed by Tushar Hiranandani, Saand Ki Aankh is said to be based on sharpshooters, Chandro Tomar and her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar. Besides it also marks Taapsee’s first collaboration with Bhumi.
With already facing movies from the other two movies, the box office collection of the film will be affected by the leak. We wonder if the movie will be able to create the desired buzz at the ticket windows.
Although, it is not the only movie to be leaked by the website, the notorious website is known to target every new release irrespective of its language and genre. Earlier, the piracy website had also targeted Thalapathy Vijay and Nayanthara starrer Bigil, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s War, Telugu magnum opus Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Prabhas starrer Saaho, etc.
