The Board of Directors of Tata Motors (TML) has approved the proposal to demerge Tata Motors into two separate listed companies housing the Commercial Vehicles business and its related investments in one entity and the Passenger Vehicles business, including PV, EV, and JLR, and its related investments in a separate entity.
An NCLT scheme of arrangement will be used to implement the demerger, and all shareholders of TML will continue to hold the same number of shares in both listed companies.
