Taylor Swift has updated a mysterious countdown on her website and Instagram which hints at her new music release. Fans are anxious for Taylor Swift to release new music and the 13 days countdown confirms something is coming.
The singer updated her Instagram bio as ‘4.26’ which tells us that the countdown will complete on April 26 and something new, maybe an album or a new single is on its way for a Friday release.
In November 2017, Swift released her last album, ‘Reputation’ which was her sixth project. In March 2018, the album became her sixth to sell more than 2 million copies in the U.S.
Back in late February, based on Swift’s Instagram Feb. 24 post, fans started theorizing that the superstar’s seventh album was on the way as the singer captioned the pic with 7 palm trees.
They also pointed out that there were 61 stars in the photo, which means there are exactly 61 days between February 24, when the original Instagram photo was posted, and April 26, the teased date.
After winning the tour of the year award during the iHeart Radio Music Awards, Swift addressed her fans through a speech in which she said, “I love your passion, I love your attention to detail, I love how much you care. I love seeing all the things you’re posting online. I just wanted to let you know that when there is new music, you will be the first to know.”
Since leaving Big Machine Label Group, this will mark Taylor Swift’s first release, if the countdown is based on a new music release.
