Someshwar Goud, Telugu Desam Party‘s leader, has allegedly been killed over political revenge in Kurnool’s K Venkatapuram village. According to reports, the probe is underway and Andhra Pradesh Police is investigating into the politician’s death.
The news comes two months after the death of two politicians at the hands of Maoists. In that incident, former Araku MLA Siveri Soma and TDP MLA Kidari Sarveswara Rao were killed in Visakhapatnam’s(Andhra Pradesh) Araku valley.
At that time, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu had said, “All believers of democracy should condemn this attack. Kidari and Siveri’s efforts for development of tribals and agency areas are unique.”
