Supposed DJI Mini 4 Pro Specifications

According to the source, the forthcoming DJI Mini 4 Pro will have varying flight durations in Europe and other regions. Due to the 249-gram weight limit in Europe and the United Kingdom, DJI will ship the Mini 4 Pro with a reduced battery in these regions. This battery will have a capacity of 2,590 mAh and provide up to 34 minutes of flight time.

DJI will dispatch the drone with a larger battery with a capacity of 3,850 mAh in other regions. This battery will provide up to 45 minutes of flight time. There will also be an extended battery case, but it will not be available in Europe because it exceeds the maximum weight limit for unlicensed drones.

The upcoming DJI Mini 4 Pro drone is anticipated to include omnidirectional obstacle sensing, among other enhancements over the previous model. Although the Mini 3 Pro was equipped with obstacle avoidance, it was only protected from the front, rear, and bottom. On the other hand, the Mini 4 Pro is rumored to have sensors on all sides, allowing for more active tracking capabilities comparable to those found on the DJI Air 3 and Mavic 3 Pro drones.

In addition, the drone is anticipated to include a camera sensor with 48 megapixels, a 1/1.3-inch format, dual native ISO, a maximum aperture size of F/1.7, and a 0.6-micron pixel edge length. DJI will employ pixel binning to collect more image data, accomplish a greater dynamic range, and bring out the details in highlights and shadows.

Additionally, it will be capable of recording in 4K at 60 frames per second. It also includes a new 100 FPS mode with 4K resolution and HDR that can be used to create slow-motion videos. The new drone will also feature 10-bit D-Log M and HLG color profiles for greater post-processing flexibility. The drone will utilize the DJI RC-2 controller for data transmission, which is capable of transmitting 1080p video at 60 frames per second up to 20 kilometers distant.

The DJI Mini 4 Pro will be released on September 25 with a rumored price of €799, or €1,129 with the Fly More Combo and an RC remote controller.
