Ahead of Telangana polls, caretaker Chief Minister and TRS Supremo K Chandrashekhar Rao could face another setback as 1 Rajya Sabha parliamentarian and 1 Lok Sabha MP, 3 legislators and 2 MLCs could leave the incumbent TRS ahead of electoral battle.

On November 23, during UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi’s Medchal rally in Telangana several leaders including former MP Konda Vishweswar Reddy will join Congress . Apart from him MP Sitaram Naik, MLC Yadava Reddy, and senior TRS leader from Chevella, Challa Madhava Reddy might join the Congress in presence of Sonia Gandhi.

Political analysts claim that there could be a major blow on the party image if these leaders leave the TRS and other factors including anti-incumbency are also evident in the state against TRS. K Chandrashekhar Rao who is popularly known as KCR decided to dissolve state assembly before its term, following that some experts claim it as a masterstroke and many see it is a wrong gamble. Polls are scheduled for December 7 in Telangana and results will be declared on December 11.
