With elections round the corner in Telangna, candidates of different political parties have indulged in strange tactics as a strategy to appease the voters. Recently, several Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) candidates were spotted cutting the hair of a customer, shaving another’s beard, helping one in taking bath and even ending a hand in carrying a dead body to the cremation ground.

The speaker of the dissolved assembly S Madhusudhana Chary, who is canvassing for himself in Bhupalpalli constituency, gatecrashed into a barber’s shop on Monday and took to shaving a customer’s beard, much to the latter’s surprise. He also played with scissors on the head of another customer. The next act was feeding an old man eating his lunch outside his hut.

Former TRS lawmaker and party’s candidate from Thungathurthi, Gadari Kishore matched his party colleagues strategy. Kishore took his foot march campaign inside a salon and began giving voters a haircut, while impressing upon them the reasons why they should vote him back in power.
