The drama is set around a cursed palace where strange forces are causing trouble for the royal family. As fear spreads, the king brings in help to deal with the problem. The story mixes human danger with spirit-world danger, so it is part history, part fantasy, and part horror.
What the story is about?
The main character is Gu-cheon, a man who can move between the world of the living and the world of ghosts. He is called in when the king needs help solving the strange events inside the palace. Along with him is Saeng-gang, a court lady who has a secret gift. She can hear the voices of the dead. Together, they must dig into the palace’s hidden past and find out what dark thing is hiding there.
The problem starts with a mysterious death in the royal family. After that, people begin to whisper that a spirit is attacking the king’s children. That fear pushes the king to secretly send for Gu-cheon. The two leads then face a dangerous mission. They need to uncover the truth before the curse grows worse and the palace falls apart.
