The Furious India Release Date:The much awaited martial-arts action thriller “The Furious” has officially locked its theatrical release dates across major international markets. The film which already generated lots of buzz after its festival screenings is now gearing up for a global theatre rollout in June 2026.
Directed in the style of classic Hong Kong action cinema, The Furious stars internationally acclaimed actors including Joe Taslim, Miao Xie and Brian Le. The action-packed revenge thriller is being distributed internationally by Lionsgate.

The Furious Storyline
The Furious follows the story of Wang Wei, whose daughter is kidnapped by a dangerous criminal syndicate. After receiving no help from corrupt authorities, he launches his own brutal mission for justice.
He teams up with journalist Navin whose wife has also somehow vanished and that pushes both men into a brutal underworld with martial arts clashes.

The movie initially premiered at the big Toronto International Film Festival, specifically in the Midnight Madness segment and afterward it was shown at a bunch of major worldwide events like the Busan International Film Festival and Sitges Film Festival.
Will The Furious Release On OTT?
Right now, the makers have only confirmed it will come to theaters. There’s still no official word about OTT streaming rights ,or any confirmed digital premiere date.
