Alia Bhatt is currently the reigning queen of Bollywood amongst the current generation. Within six years, the actress has stamped her mark in Bollywood and shown us all why she is here to stay for a really long time. From Student of the Year (2012) to Raazi (2018), Alia has time and again proved to us her mettle as an actor. With fame comes fortune and currently, the actress owns two flats in Mumbai and is now furthering in on her investments, in a big way.
According to DNA, Alia has recently purchased a property in Juhu and paid a staggering amount of Rs 13.11 crore for it. The 2,300 sq. ft apartment which is located on the first floor had a ready reckoner rate of Rs 7.86 crore which means that Alia has paid double the price for the same. The buyer, under whose name, the apartment currently is Eternal Sunshine Productions Pvt Ltd, where Alia is named director. Alia had to pay a stamp duty of Rs 65.55 lakhs for the property. Along with the apartment, Alia got two open parking spaces as well.
Talking about Alia paying double the price for her flat, Sangeet Hemant Kumar of SHK Ventures stated, “There’s a premium attached to these properties and going by the rate, the price that Bhatt paid for this property isn’t very high. The property is exactly like a house a celebrity would like to invest in.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia will be seen opposite Ranveer Singh in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, which is slated to release on Valentine’s Day, i.e. February 14, 2019.
