Saudi Arabia orders release of 850 Indian prisoners

Coinciding with the visit of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to India, Saudi Arabia on Wednesday ordered release of 850 Indian prisoners lodged in its jails.

Film producer Rajkumar Barjatya passes away

Rajkumar Barjatya, the renowned Bollywood producer took his final breaths in Mumbai’s Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital. His last production, Hum Chaar was released on February 15, 2019.

He was the father of filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya and the son of founder of Rajshri Films Tarachand Barjatya, Rajkumar has producer some famous pictures such as Maine Pyaar Kiya, Vivah, Isi Life Mein
His last production Hum Char was released last Friday.

Fire kills 69 in Bangladesh capital

Death toll from the building fire in an old part of Bangladesh capital Dhaka has risen to 69 with scores others injured, fire service officials said on Thursday.

The fire broke out at the ground floor of a four storey chemical warehourse building in Old Dhaka area.
The Bangladesh govt announced an aid of Taka 30 Lakh for the deceased’s family. West Bengal Chief Minister shared her condolences.

“We have so far recovered the bodies of 69 people,” Mahfuz Riven, a duty officer of the Fire Service and Civil Defence, was quoted as saying by Xinhua news agency. Read more

6-year-old boy, who fell into borewell in Pune, safely rescued

The six-year-old boy who fell into a borewell near Manchar tehsil in Pune yesterday has been safely rescued after about 16 hrs of rescue operation. The boy had fallen into a borewell in Ambegaon taluka while he was playing near the site on Wednesday afternoon
