The comedy blockbuster franchise Dhamaal is back with its third instalment, ‘Total Dhamaal.’ The star cast includes Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit, Anil Kapoor and Johnny Lever along with Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey, Riteish Deshmukh and Sanjay Mishra. Total Dhamaal is set to be released on February 22.

The movie synopsis reads, “And the madness & the craziness of the biggest franchise of laughter continues… #TotalDhamaal is the wildest adventure comedy ever. After Guddu & Jonny, small-time conmen gets double-crossed of their illegal booty by their own colleague Daddu starts a mad crazy adventure between Guddu-Jonny & 3 other groups i.e Avinash & Bindu – a bickering couple about to be divorced; Lallan & Jhingur – Fire officers turned offenders & two weird siblings Aditya & Manav after they disagree to distribute the booty equally.”
In the trailer, Sonakshi Sinha can also be spotted shaking her legs on an item number. From the trailer, it looks like a treasure heist kind of a film. The characters are split into teams in pursuit of a huge amount of treasure which is hidden somewhere in a place called Janakpur.
Ajay Devgn(Guddu) and Sanjay Mishra(Jonny) seem to be in one team, while yesteryear hit Jodi Anil Kapoor(Avinash) and Madhuri Dixit(Bindu) form a team, Riteish Deshmukh(Lallan) and Johnny Lever(Jhingur) are paired together. Keeping in sync with the previous films, Arshad Warsi(Aditya) and Javed Jaffrey(Manav) are also one team.
Incidentally, the characters will have a lot of encounters with wild animals in the film, as can been seen in the trailer.
Dhamaal 1 and 2 both were hilariously funny and both the movies also featured Sanjay Dutt but the poster of Total Dhamaal shows that the movie will not feature Sanjay Dutt in its third part. Instead, the filmmakers are casting Bollywood superstars Ajay Devgn and Anil Kapoor along with the beautiful Madhuri Dixit in the movie.
