Bollywood veteran actress Manisha Koirala is back with Sunaina Bhatnagar’s film ‘Dear Maya’. The first trailer of the film has released on Friday. Notably, Bhatnagar has worked with filmmaker Imtiaz Ali on Jab We Met, Love Aaj Kal and Rockstar.
The trailer shows two teenage girls Anna and Ira – both best friends living in Shimla. The girls are intrigued by an abandoned Bungalow and the old lady (Maya Devi played by Manisha Koirala) who lives in the Bungalow. Maya hasn’t stepped outside for 20 years and seems like she has her one story to convey. The story takes a major turn when Anna and Ira decide to write fake love letters to Maya.

Featuring Manisha Koirala, Mahida Imam, Shreya Chaudhry, Rohit Saraf, Irawati Harshe and Sahil Shroff in lead roles, the film is all set to release on June 2.
Manisha Koirala, who survived cancer, was diagnosed with the disease in 2012. She has appeared in two films, “Bhoot Returns” and psychological thriller “Chehere: A Modern Day Classic,” along with Jackie Shroff, post her cancer struggle. She will also be seen in Rjakumar Hirani’s next project based on the life of actor Sanjay Dutt.
