The first trailer of Sanjay Dutt’s comeback film, Bhoomi, has been released on Thursday afternoon and the film looks promising. The trailer already has around two lakhs YouTube hits within hours.
Bhoomi is a revenge drama and tells the story of a father and a daughter. Sanjay Dutt plays the father while Aditi Rao Hydari is essaying the role of his daughter. While Shekhar Suman is playing the role of Sanjay’s friend, Sharad Kelkar and TV actor Sidhant Gupta also has significant characters to play in the film.
The trailer shows father and daughter sharing a strong bond. However, tragic turn of events gives a traumatic twist to their story. Bhoomi was supposed to hit theatres on 4 August. But now, the date shifted to a 22 September to avoid a clash with Aamir Khan-Zaira Wasim-starrer Secret Superstar.
