Arunabh Kumar, CEO of The Viral Fever (TVF) seems to be in major trouble as four witnesses have come out in support of the victim, strengthening her case, said the MIDC police probing the molestation case. The police will file a charge sheet against Kumar in the Andheri magistrate court in a month.

The officials said the statements of the witnesses, including one eyewitness, have been recorded. The witnesses told the police that the victim did not speak up immediately as she was afraid. She only informed a few close friends about Kumar’s behaviour.

The victim also described her suffering to one of them on WhatsApp the same day and police have a copy of the chat.

A case was filed against Kumar in March following the woman accused him of sexually harassing her during a shoot at TVF’s Andheri office. The woman alleged that he had touched her inappropriately and made vulgar comments.

However, Kumar contended in his anticipatory bail plea that she had clicked a selfie with him. The court had granted Kumar conditional bail. Kumar also said that people were spreading incorrect information against him on the web.

The police were verifying his allegations, said Akhilesh kumar Singh, DCP (cyber).
