Union Minister Suresh Gopi confidently dismissed allegations of voter list manipulation raised by the Congress and Left parties, asserting that the Election Commission of India holds the authority to respond to these accusations.
Gopi, who maintains that he is efficiently performing his ministerial duties, referred to his accusers as ‘vanaras’, indicating his refusal to take the allegations seriously.
This marks Gopi’s first direct response to the allegations directed at himself and the BJP regarding the manipulation of the voters’ list during the Lok Sabha elections. Meanwhile, the Congress has lodged a police complaint against the actor-turned-politician.
